Carnivore Daily

Feeling like I am in a nice routine these last few days. No movement on the scale but that’s ok. I am so loving my bacon cheeseburgers for an early lunch (10:30am). Every time I eat one I keep saying I could live off these, lol. I had ribeyes and Ny strips in the frig that we cooked last night. They taste amazing on the grill unfortunately my grill broke last night. So sad. I ended up using my George Foreman grill which was ok it’s just not the same. I think it’s time for a new out door grill.

D – Ribeye Steak, ramekin southwestern taco soup (2 carbs)

Lunch:

1/2lb bacon cheeseburger

I only buy grass fed ground beef. Mostly grass fed grass finished ground beef. The bacon I got from a farm close by (Long Stone Farm). They raise pigs, cow and chickens and we run there at least once a month to stock up on meats. This was the first time I have tried the bacon. It was good. I love, love, love GrassLandBeef bacon though.

Grassland bacon really is the best. I normally buy tons at one time and freeze it. I buy the 1.5lb size packages, but in a pinch it’s nice to know I can run up the street and get grass fed grass finished bacon.

I got a bit hungry at around 3:30pm so I warmed up a small ramekin of leftover Southwestern taco soup to eat while we made dinner. Hubby was hungry too so we just grilled dinner early and ate.

I am trying to just listen to my body. If I am hungry I eat. If I am thirsty I drink. That’s about it. I will finish a few items in my frig that are more Atkin’s/Keto/Low carb like the Southwestern taco soup but for the most part I will eat the Carnivore way.

How I feel =

  • Joints – My knees are killing me today. Actually its been a few days of all over joint pain but my knees, omg!!!!! Trying to just walk it off but it’s hard.
  • Sleep – I slept ok. One of my dogs is a tiny Shitz zu, all black. He is so cute but you can’t really take pictures of him because you can’t see him. All the pictures come out as a big black blob. Anyway I digress. He just got a haircut and it’s winter here. So he snuggled up all night right under my arm pit. Every time I wanted to turn I woke up thinking I would roll over him. So just ok slept.
  • Face – I have Rosacea and Psoriasis and have had really bad flare so that I need medication, antibiotics, cream etc. I have about 4 patches on my face right now that I am trying to have heal. I also have Lupus so I have a butterfly rash 24/7.
  • Bathroom – Ha just throwing this in there. I have IBS as well, so not going has never been an issue for me. It’s going all the time that’s the problem. I normally have diarrhea all day which makes it difficult to go or do anything other than stay close to the bathroom. I know TMI but I want to be actuate.
